Visit from Google, Dublin
On Friday 28th October Ciara Byrne from Google Dublin came in to talk to Y12 and Y13 Business Studies students. The students learnt all about what Google do and how the culture of the organisation contributes to their success. Google are consistently in the top 5 ‘Fortune 100 best companies to work for’ and as such the recruitment process is highly competitive. Recent job openings announced at the Dublin site attracted 70,000 curriculum vitae! Ciara emphasized the importance of not only high academic achievement in the selection process, but also personal development through commitment to good causes or supporting the local community. The Y12 and Y13 students came away very motivated and determined to work hard in order to be successful!
