Facilities

St. George´s is situated in beautiful landscape on a hillside close to the city centre. This environment contributes positively to the peaceful atmosphere within the school.

The school is divided into two sections: The Foundation Years site and the Primary and Secondary school.

The facilities in the two buildings are impressive and contribute significantly to the quality of teaching we provide. Throughout the school, classrooms are bright, well furnished and spacious.

Both rooms and corridors are made more attractive by the numerous and varied displays of children´s work. There are recreational areas and outdoor play equipment for the younger children and good sports facilities for the older students.

The school has excellent specialist facilities. There are three science laboratories, a library, special needs rooms, music room, a well-equipped information technology centre, two gymnasiums and an art room.

Overall, the facilities offer a pleasant, stimulating and secure learning environment for the pupils.

During the academic year 2007-8, we undertook a major building project to extend the main school. The extension, which opened in September 2008, provides many new classrooms and much larger specialist facilities.
