St George's Madrid Football Team
Children from year 3 to 7 have been included in the first St Georges Madrid Sports Team to participate in a competitive tournament involving 16 schools throughout Madrid. This event is a highly respected and renowned competition run by Volkswagen, with the winner going on to represent Spain in a world tournament. Most importantly however is the opportunity that this provides for the children to showcase the strong sense of teamwork, motivation and determination we see on a daily occurrence in sport and other curricular areas. We hope to make this competition the first of many that the pupils have a chance of participating in and to show your support to the team and future participants of our teams we invite all parents and pupils along to enjoy the day and cheer on the St Georges Team on the 8th of January at La Dehesa de Navalcarbón, Las Rozas.
