Book Character Day.
To celebrate the end of World Book Week, we held a book character day. Children and teachers dressed up as their favourite book characters and we held a parade with the whole school present. Winners were then chosen from each year group and were awarded with a book.
Christmas Shoe Boxes
This year we are supporting “Operation Christmas Child”. This charity sends Christmas Shoe boxes to children in countries where they will not receive any other presents this Christmas. Our children have filled shoe boxes with gifts such as small games, colouring pencils and sweets. We are hoping to send off 200 boxes from our school.
The Farm Trip
In October we took all of our year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children to the farm
The younger children stayed one night at the farm whilst the older children spent two nights there.

Foundation stage and Year 1 goes to the Theatre On Friday 8th April, Foundation stage and Year 1 went to a local theatre to see a production called Numbers, Colours and Songs. The show told the story of a young Spanish girl who wanted to be good at drawing. One day, one of her colouring pencils came to life and she was able to teach him lots of words in English and in return he taught her how to draw. ...

Los alumnos de Year 4 visitaron Faunia In February 4C made a trip to Faunia to learn about animals and how they have adapted to their habitats. Outstanding writing!   We held a short story writing competition across the school last term. The winning stories from each class were sent off to a British Book Publishers, “Chapter One” into a competition they were running.
